The Schenectady Free Health Clinic offers free medical care for the treatment of acute illnesses, chronic conditions, phyisical examinations and work physicals, mental health care, dermatology, and a host of other specialized cares.
The clinic has a broad network of referring physicians in the Schenectady who may be able to see clinic patients free of charge.
The clinic provides free, non-narcotic, prescription medications to help patients manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases. Additionally we provide free blood work and can arrange for x-rays and other exams at Ellis Hospital.
The Schenectady Free Health Clinic will see any person regardless of race, nationality, or creed.
The only requirements include that the person have no other form of health insurance (this includes Medicare or Medicaid) and the person be from Schenectady County.
